We are seeking a Content Editor to join our Editorial Department at The Platform Mag. As a Content Editor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the editorial direction of our geopolitical news magazine. Your primary responsibility will be to curate, edit, and oversee the publication of compelling articles focusing on global geopolitical events, trends, and analyses. 

Requirements

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen attention to detail and grammar. 

  • Bachelor's degree related to Journalism, Political Science, International Relations is huge plus. Not required if experience/expertise can be proven through other means.

  • Strong understanding of international politics and the ability to analyze and present complex geopolitical issues in a clear and engaging manner.

  • Familiarity with digital publishing platforms and Google Docs Sharing.

  • A passion for staying up-to-date with current events, geopolitics, and global trends.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively and respectfully.

  • Collaborate closely with writers and contributors to review, edit, and refine content, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to our magazine's editorial standards.

  • Stay well-informed about current geopolitical developments, enabling you to guide content creation that remains timely, insightful, and relevant.

  • Craft engaging headlines, subheadings, and introductory passages that captivate our readership and align with our magazine's unique voice and perspective.

  • Contribute to editorial planning, helping to identify emerging geopolitical topics and trends to be covered in upcoming issues.

  • Work collaboratively with the editorial team to uphold the magazine's reputation for delivering high-quality, thought-provoking content.
